“The Weekend We Lived at School”

I was 13 years old when the Blizzard of '77 left me stranded at school for the entire weekend.

We slept on army cots in the gymnasium and ate chicken noodle soup. They even opened the swimming pool, and luckily for me, I had my swimsuit with me!
